How We Work
No jargon. No surprises. No per-user fees.
We build websites and business apps for small teams, and we explain everything the way we would want it explained to us.
Who we are for
- Solo operators and teams under 20 people
- Rental companies, service businesses, field crews, and shops with inventory
- Anyone running the business on a spreadsheet or no-code tool that almost works
If you have ever said "I know it's in the spreadsheet somewhere," we should talk.
Who we are not for (yet)
- Businesses that need payment processing built in
- Medical, legal, or financial records with strict compliance rules
- Projects with a hard deadline inside two weeks
- Teams that need someone on call 24/7
We are honest about this because it saves everyone time. We will happily point you to someone who fits.
The process
1. A short conversation
Thirty minutes, free. You tell us what is breaking. We ask how your day actually goes. We will tell you honestly whether a custom build makes sense or whether an off-the-shelf tool would serve you better.
2. A written plan and a fixed price
For anything beyond a small website, the next step is a paid planning session ($250). You get a written plan in plain English: what we will build, what it costs, how long it takes. The $250 comes off the build price if you go ahead. If you do not, you still have the plan.
3. Build, with updates you can understand
Progress updates describe what you would notice using the app, not what changed in the code. You see working screens early and often, so nothing is a surprise at the end.
4. Your data, moved safely
If you have existing records, we move them over without losing anything, and we practice on a copy first.
5. Launch and walkthrough
We put it live, verify it is working, and walk you through it on a call. You get a short recorded video to refer back to.
6. Support, if you want it
Everything we build comes with a support window after launch. After that, a simple monthly plan keeps it maintained. We only support what we build.
Pricing
Every project gets a fixed price and a written scope before work starts. These are the ranges most projects fall into.
- Website fix or small update$60 – $350
- One-page site or landing page$250 – $600
- Small business website (up to 5–8 pages)$800 – $2,000
- Planning session and written plan$250, credited toward a build
- Spreadsheet-to-app (one main workflow)$1,500 – $4,000
- Larger business system (several connected workflows)Quoted after planning session
- Monthly support plan$75 – $300 depending on scope
Hourly, when it makes sense: $40/hr for small ongoing work.
Terms: Half up front for anything over $500, the rest at launch. A 14-day revision window after launch. Hosting runs in your name, typically $10–$25 a month, and you own everything.
How we build
We use modern AI development tools, directed by someone who ran a business's inventory, shipping, and database for eight years. That combination is the point: fast delivery, and screens designed by a person who has actually done the job.
Every change runs through automatic checks before it goes live, and we verify the live site after every update. See it in action in the DMSCommand case study.
Questions we get
- Will I own it?
- Yes. Code, hosting, and domain are all in your name.
- What if you disappear?
- Everything lives in your accounts and is built with mainstream, widely used tools. Any developer can pick it up.
- Can you work with my existing website?
- Usually. Send us the address.
- Do you do design?
- Clean, professional, and fast. Not avant-garde. If you need a brand identity from scratch, we will say so.
- Why are your prices lower than agencies?
- We are small, we build efficiently, and we are building our client list. Prices will go up. Early clients lock in the rate for support plans.
